The Economic Security Council of Ukraine (ESCU) and the National Agency on Corruption Prevention of Ukraine (NACP) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for the formation and practical implementation of information exchange aimed at cooperation in the field of state sanctions policy.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, the ESCU and the NACP can conduct joint research and analysis of the effectiveness of the special economic and other restrictive measures as well as sanctions policy as a whole. In addition, the parties may conduct joint activities to develop approaches and mechanisms for achieving the goals of the Memorandum.

The ESCU and the NACP will also be able to work together on preparing information materials in the field of state sanctions policy, create joint working groups or other consulting and expert associations, and provide mutual assistance in organising seminars, conferences, meetings, etc.

The Memorandum will remain in effect for a period of three years.

It is worth noting that earlier, the ESCU and the NACP already cooperated in the field of information exchange regarding the activities of the world's largest oil and gas company SLB on the Russian market. As a result, the company was included in the list of international sponsors of war developed and maintained by the NACP.
