Since December 2025, he has served as Director of Policy and Advocacy at the Economic Security Council of Ukraine.
From 2022 to 2025, Roman led the sanctions unit of the Trap Aggressor project at the StateWatch think tank, where, following the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, his research focused on the structure of the Russian military-industrial complex and the assets of Russian oligarchs in Ukraine.
Previously, he worked as an anti-corruption analyst in Ukraine, focusing in particular on the operations of Ukrainian state-owned enterprises.
